Laptop atau komputer jinjing (notebook) merupakan sebuah perangkat komputer yang mempunyai ukuran tipis dan juga kecil ketimbang perangkat komputer pada umumnya. Spesifikasi dan sistem kinerja yang di punyai hampir sama seperti komponen komputer dekstop lainnya, hanya saja laptop mempunyai berat yang lebih ringan.
Sumber daya yang membuat laptop dapat menyala dan di pergunakan dengan stabil, ialah menggunakannya sebuah baterai yang dapat bertahan kurang lebih selama 6 jam lamanya. Hal tersebut tidak dapat di tentukan karena tergantung dari pemakaian penggunanya.
